Sue DeMartelaere and Jim find time to grin at the camera. Jackie Moser sways to the beat of the music. In honor of St. Viator's 20th anniversary this year the Homecoming festivities were even more exciting. Cele- bration for this event began Friday afternoon with an extremely energetic pep rally. We all gathered in St. Via- tor's gym to show our joint Viator-Heart spirit. Through cheerleaders, pom-pon girls, and of course football players the support and unity was overwhelming. That night, bun- dled in layers of warm clothing, we huddled in the stands to cheer our players on to a tremendous victory. Finally the climax of the weekend came - the annual Homecom- ing Dance. On Saturday night, October lOth, decked out in formal attire, we all enjoyed an evening of dancing, ro- mancing, and just plain fun. lt was with much regret that the evening had to come to an end. However, the memo- ries of the l98l Homecoming will always remain. Patty Hayes happily dances with her partner. Alicia Slawin thoroughly enjoys slow-dancing with her date.
