This club is open to students who are interest- ed in either singing or play- ing the piano. Various recit- als were offered to the club members throughout the course of the year. In March, the piano students participated in a recital at McCormick Place, in Chica- go. The voice students took part in the Illinois State Competition. Piano and Voice had a very successful school year. Thanks to its hard working members and teacher.

Jennifer Healy. Joann Taylor, Mrs. Leland Moderator. Row 3 Ann Hubka Vicki Merkel Jenny Baur Katie Hensen-Mack, Kris Saccomando, Barb Richards The Math Club is one of the new clubs which were formed this year. The club members par- ticipated in three major activi- ties throughout the school year. In March, many of the club mem- bers represented Sacred Heart in the ICTN State Math Contest. Various students took places in this contest, such as Mary McQuire, Bobbie Taylor and Anita Nesser. Algebra I and ll re- ceived a fourth place and Geom- etry a third. On May I, a contest was held for seventh and eighth grade girls in the local area. The Math Club also set up a tutoring program. This enabled students in the school to receive extra help from the members of the club. The Math Club is very bene- ficial for both the members as well as the non-members. It had a very successful year.
