PECIAL RECCG ITIO Seniors, Mary Ahlenius, Mary Todd, and Pam Barnak, have been the bowling champions for the past two years. Their enthusiasm could be seen through their attitude and good sportsmanship. Mary Todd stated, We had fun competing against the friendly opponents Pam and Mary Todd were also individual winners with Mary taking the High Game trophy with a 156 game, and Pam took the High Average trophy tsecond year in a rowj with a 154 average. The league was good competition and practice for me, and I enjoyed it a lot, Pam stated. l l l i Cindy Groth 0811, Teresa McGettrick C831 Candice Staszkiewicz C845 and Trish Griffin tinsertl C815 were honored by having their artwork exhibited at the Nation- al Art Education Association Convention of 1981. Mary Kay Metzger t'81J and Cathy Pace C825 had their art work exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago. Mary Kay took 'LBest in Show in the 1980 SHM Art Show, and her work has also been exhibited at the 1981 National Art Education Associ- ation Convention. Not pictured, Karen Marcy and Julie Kala- maras also had their art exhibited at the Art Institute of Chica- go. Karen won the Arlington Heights scholarship to the Uni! versity of Illinois Summer Art Workshop last summer, and Julie won the same scholarship, but of the Palatine section. Sophomore, Eileen Foos, won third place in the Art Watercolor Show at the Randhurst Shopping Mall.
