foundation in Mathematics Geometry in sophomore year proves to be very puzzling. Geraldine De Gaeto helps make pieces fit by explaining a many sided problem to her interested mathematical classmates. X usually marks the spot but here it stands for the unknown. This type of reasoning IS common to freshman Algebra. Helen Yandrich tampers with the unknown as she attempts to solxe a simple age problem while classmates check her work. Page 20
