Wordsworth Throughout the diocese of Raleigh the word of His Excellency, Bishop Vincent S. Waters is seen. A great and wise leader of the Cath- olic Church, His Excellency is at pres- ent touring his diocese and giving re- ports on the recent Ecumenical Coun- cil, which was held in Rome. His ef- forts are to enable both Catholics and non-Catholics to understand and ap- preciate the working of the council which now affects both Catholics and non-Catholics. A great and wise Bishop, he leads his people toward Christ. Most Reverend Vincen S. Waters, D.D. Bishop of Raleigh During the recent absence of His Ex- cellency, Bishop Charles B. McLaugh- lin has proven a capable administrator for the diocese of Raleigh. Bishop Mc- Laughlin has done much in the field of education for the Catholic Church in North Carolina.
