Corning Home The 1984 Homecoming candidates were Mary Knobbe, Tom Sells, Gina Bippes, who was crowned Queen, Greg Liberty, who was named King, Janet Finck and Mike Frederick. The girls all chose to wear long gowns and each carried a long stemmed white rose. The King and Queen were announced during the half-time of the SH-Bern game. Roy makes a guest appearance during the skit at the bonfire. The cheerleaders performed a routine after the skit. Gina Bippes and Greg Liberty were announced as the royal couple at the 1984 Homecoming festivities. The spirit is mounting as the fans await The Bonfire.

We Got The Beat Pep Club officers were Tracy O'Grady, Secretary- Treasurer; Amy Bauman, V-President; and Moni Parsons, President. The Pep Club provided a lot of sound yelling. Chris, Amy, Janet and Gina try to get the kids rowdy at a pep rally before a big game. tyTmd1at.Sacred Heart had SPIRIT and cheered for us at the STATE 1UUKNEY in Lincoln. 28

Does she mean it? Nice nose, Annette! Annette, Gina and Angie decorate the tree. What’s so funny, Angie?; do you remember?? On December 17th, the students had their annual Christmas For- mal. The day began with the Juniors and Seniors decorating the gym for the dance that night. The Living Rosary started at 7:00 P.M. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Goltz portrayed Mary and Jo- seph while Tim Kirken- dall portrayed baby Je- sus. The music for the evening was provided by “Lou” Barker. Moni lends a helping hand to Annette. 30 What’s new!?!
