Although weather discouraged run- ning and practicing of field events outdoors, much hard work was done in the gym. The boys won their District and four boys qualified for the State Meet. John Fischer was the only SH person to place in State this year, he took sixth in the discus. Many boys let- tered this season. a triple jumper.
