The Irish ended the season with a disap- pointing 2-7 record, but valuable experience was gained concern- ing the new rules and regulations of the eight-man game. Sacred Heart was proud to have four fine players named to the Galaxy All-Conference teams. Bill Hel- mick and Kenny Schawang made first team while Dan Goltz and Chris Rathman were awarded with honorable mentions. The kick is off and the Irish gridders move into action as the game begins. 17
