Gina Bippes. Kristi Olberding, Annette Keithley. and Shell Slominski. The 1982 Volleyball season tied things together with a 4-8 record. The Irishettes improved greatly from the year before. With Coach Kirkendall and four returning lettermen leading the team, the Volleyballers kept their spirits high and determination going throughout the season. Kristi Olberding was named first team All-Conference, and Amy Slominski was chosen for the second team. With most of the players returning with their experience and talent, Sacred Heart can expect a winning season next year. Theresa Knobbe goes up for an ace spike as Amy Majerus Kristi Olberding.
