The rings were ordered in January and our excitement grew as the beginning of May approached when the class rings would come. It was a joyous time on the day they arrivedl The sophomores also worked hard on making money for their junior year. Included in the money making projects were picking up corn, cleaning Jug Brown Stadium, cake raffles and popping popcorn at the basketball games. We also sponsored a school dance. 10

Secretary-Treasurer Pat Knobbe and Vice-President Joe Dixon. 12 The Freshmen class of 1982-83 were small, but man- aged to raise a fair sum of money over the school year. One of their money-making projects was the ever popular cake raffles, of which they had many. This year the Freshmen came up with a new way to earn their money. They had conces- sion stands at the junior high football games. Other fund- raising activities included re- freshments at auctions, and a bake sale during the Falls City sidewalk bazaar. Throughout the year the Freshmen participated in sports, cheered the Irish teams on, and took part in the school musical. Their talents shone through in all they did, and they will certainly be an asset to Sacred Heart in their remaining High School years.
