Spirit Brings Homecoming Success Homecoming, October 11, 1975, left many excit- ing memories. The senior girls started the week be- fore making decorations for the school. The junior class showed their spirit by building the biggest bonfire ever. On Thursday night the seniors de- corated the school and afterwards really 'picked up in the spirit of tilings with a ride in the Homecoming car. Saturday night the Homecoming activities were delayed when the referees failed to show, but suit- able replacements were soon found. At halftime, Mary Jo O'Grady was crowned queen and Scott Kreifels was crowned king. The Irish got a Home- coming victory over Nemaha Valley by the score of 26-8. The dance was held at Tiehen Gym with music provided by Earth.
