FAR RIGHT: Steve Pokomy leads the Irish on a fast break. The Irish team combined quickness, con- sistency, agility and speed to h ave another winning season. The highlight of the season was the Irish’s 113 point performance against Rockport, Mo. which set a new school re- cord. The team was led throughout the sea- son by Southern Galaxy All-Conference Steve Pokomy and Bob Aitken. The shooting of Pokomy and Aitken combined with the re- bounding of Hill and Hoy and the ball thievery of Jon Kopetzky and the hustle of Matt Froeschl paved the way for another success- ful season.
