Last year the Irish went undefeated, yet they didn't stop there The Irish tried for another undefeated season this year in football. Even though they didn't make it in football, the Irish kept on trying. The Irish went to state this year, the first time in 27 years. Sacred Heart scored in all three sports considered by the Omaha World Herald for the All Sports Award The Irish were second to Nebraska City Lourdes in 11-man football, third in basketball, behind Palmer and Hampton, and ninth in track The track points were cinched by Tim Hoy. who won the Class D long jump (22-10 1 -4) and the triple jump (44-4 34) worth 20 points to Sacred Heart. 20 Activities Compare this picture to the one at the beginning of the book. This symbolizes the change brought about by all the ac- tivity going on throughout the year. With all the activities going on. it would be impossible to mention them here.
