Text from Pages 1 - 40 of the 1969 volume:

, • iyrl t . , 7 y nM r; Blarney 969 There’s a bit of magic in Ireland Of legendary fame. The Blarney Stone it's called. Sure and it's earned its name. For hidden in that trusty rock For the price of an Irishman's kiss Is the gift of lucky livin' The peak of Blarney bliss. Once upon a merry mom A laddy happened by Planted a kiss on the Blarney Stone And met with wonders nigh. Ere he resumed his journey The words began to flow. Henceforth destined to relate These tales of long ago. Above one day, an angel cried And dropped a giant tear; 'Twas a little bit of heaven That chanced to nestle here. m ■ 'ivV yV- w k Walking in a shamrock field A leprechaun he spied. Popped him in a burlap bag And over the hill he hied. In the village folks were dancing jigs, The Wearing of the Green, Such merrymaking in Dublin town As he had never seen. And every rover who hailed him With a merry Top O' the Mom Dreamed of the gold at the rainbow's end Erin's wealth, sure as you're born. More work than one would suspect is done behind the door of her office. The paper work for the entire school is taken care of by her or under her direction by Mrs. Lawrence Frederick and Mrs. Tom McGinnis. Schedules are made, revised and pieced together until everything fits perfectly, class records filed, transcripts filled out, official reports for the State Department and diocesan office prepared. The list goes on indefinitely, but that isn't all. She teaches history and English. Phone calls and interviews punctuate her routine. After six years of working for our school she knows atul understands the headaches, heartaches, joys, problems and personality of each student at Sacred Heart High Sclurol. The stiuients of Sacred Heart, especially we sen- iors, llumk Sister Ann Teresa for all she turn done for us and our school.
