Besides Miele, the scoring leaders of the Senior league included Tom Hayes, Vin Duffy, and lim Sullivan. Others on the squad Were Tom Flynn, Bill Flower, Lou Hinchcliffe, Tom Ahearn, and lack Huelsman. Coaches for the team were Tom McPhillips and Ioe McCrudden, While Richie Keating was trainer. Other teams in the league were drawn from the Iunior, the Sophomore, and the Freshman classes and Were paced by Brud LaBarge and Iohn Higgins, William McDon- ald and Carmine Cocco, Ed Deierlein and George Riley, Larry McCrudden and Iack Doyle. Wanted! One stray basketball as members of the Freshman and Senior Intramural teams grab for it.

From the standpoint of final points, their season Was not as howling success, but from the experience angle, we feel sure they have piled up quite a background. Led by co-captains. Mike Miele and Tom Flynn, the team estab- lished the outstanding record of three Wins and one loss on dual meets-that one loss being a one-point defeat from the strong Iona Prep Team of New Rochelle. Rounding out the starting tive were Sen- iors, Ioe McCrudden and Tom Ahearn, and the Sophomore ace, Pat Kavanah. The Varsity was backed by Iuniors, Norman O'Connell, Francis Bautz, Ierome Reilly, and Al Mitrione. Brian Sullivan, Carmine Cocco. and lack Hanney made up the Sophomore squad, and the Freshmen Were Bill O'Con- nell and Larry McCrudden. Neil Maloney was a very capable manager. llrnss-Country and Track Mike finishes sixth and Tom ninth in the City Meet at Tibbetts Park bringing the Irish harriers into third place, following Gorton and Roosevelt but coming in ahead of Saunders and Yonkers, Nice Work!
