Dedication Dear Brother Thomas, You have a special aptitude for selecting students who are convinced they have no talents, and who have convinced others they have no talents, and turning them into multi-faceted, responsible adults. It is your supportiveness as opposed to derisiveness, your viable patterning as opposed to hard molding, your perception as opposed to judgment, your respect for us as adults that we thank you for now and will appreciate over the coming years. You are a teacher like no other. You pushed students to limits, but they were personalized limits. Each reached for his own star. You just made sure that star was neither unreachable nor too easily within grasp. Sacred Heart will direly miss you, though those who haven’t experienced your loving regime will never miss it so sorely for themselves as we will for them.
