Stage Techs Left Side: Kelly Noonan, Gia Petrilli, Kathy Ketchum, Tom Although not many people noticed them, the stage techs were a key fac- tor in the success of Sacred Heart's stage performances. Most of the stage techs are from Sr. Virginia Dever's Performing Arts class, but there are a few who are not. The stage techs worked long and hard to practice for shows such as the productions of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs , Up the Down Stair- case , the Glee Club's and Chorus' Christmas and Spring Show, the SHA Talent Show, and other performances. The stage techs worked the micro- phone board, the lighting board, the spotlight, and other jobs connected with backstage. At first, only sophomores and upper- classmen were stage techs. Then, in the spring, some freshmen were trained to work the backstage equip- ment. The stage techs not only must know how to work the equipment, they must also know the right place and the right time to use the lights and other effects. Sullivan, and Greg Schaaf. Right Side: Erin O'Brien, Patrice Schinneer, Laura Drama Qluh N Lowry. Janet Lewis. Jafikie O'Brien, Vickyflohnson, and Karen Oswald. Hiler, Eileen , ary- DlPPER'S PROPERTY

Conducting the group for the first time was Dennis Beiermann, head of the music department. By the time the concerts and performances were over, the band had progressed into a true musical group.
