Lock-Cin 2, 3 9 . '- if .' Y X. Emi vvo days before school started on August 'l8th, the entire freshmen class was invited to the Freshmen Lock-in. The beginning of this event consisted of surveys which identified students with similar interests. After a vvhile, the freshmen class got to know their homerooms for vvalk-a-thon and other school events. In groups the students played get to knovv you activities, and talked about their exciting summer experiences. The homerooms had dinner in the dining hall. After, they vvere taken to the pavillion to learn a variety of nevv cheers. After this rally, the freshmen enjoyed more games and a dance in the DePaul auditorium. The entire courtyard of the DePaul campus vvas covered with different types of inflat- able games. lVleanvvhile, the auditorium vvas full of students, mingling and danc- ing. The class of 201 'l had fun during the Lock-ln and considered it to be a great opportunity to make new friends. The dance and the games were fun, said Carisa Borromeo l 1. The Freshmen lock- in vvas an extremely fun event.
