nthusiasm for the Bruce Mahoney Game began when Big Green planned the customary Spirit Week. This year, the halls of Sl-lCP were filled with celebrities, athletes, and a variety of different cultures. For some students, it was a totally new experience, while for others, it was another year of support- ing the Fightin' lrish. The entire school body participated in a cheer off against each other, the Juniors and Sophmores joining against the Seniors and Fresh- men. During the rally the football players performed a dance that made the crowd go crazy with cheers! Competitions were held between each grade, among those games the Bench Relay and The Fro- zen T-shirt Contest. Right: The football team boosts up their energy for their game. ne of the Sacred Heart Cathe dral Prep annual fundraisers is the VValk-a-thon. The'l Sth annual Walk-a-thon took place at the Polo Fields in Golden Gate Park. On the morning of September 14, 2007, Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep's student body gathered at the benches at the Polo Fields. The event started when the Big Green squad rallied up the crowd. The Big Green presented their new cheer to get everyone excited and energized. Soon after, the Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen lined up in order and moved across the polo fields and into Golden Gate park ready to begin their five mile walk across the beautiful park. After their five-mile walk around Golden Gate Park everyone lined up for their lunch which was hamburg- ers chips drinks and ice cream.
