An audience sounds high applause as MARGE MURPHY and MARGE MALONE finish their dancing act on a vaudeville circuit. A thin, scholarly-looking woman is pursuing a monarch butterfly across the fields of England. It is JACQUELINE BACIN, Professor of Biology at Harvard. A battery of cinema cameras are trained upon two stylishly dressed actresses in minks attending their premiere. The Hollywood stars are LUCRETIA MESSINA and FRANCES PELLf' A trio of red cars round a curve on a high scaffold. A girl sits in the last car, her hand clutching a brass lever. It is AUDREY DAHM, a guard on the Bug at Euclid Beach. The rapid flow of language ceased for a moment, but as soon as the mystic regained his breath he resumed. The Senator from Ohio arises and addresses the Chair in the Senate. She is KATHERINE TEHANf' A steel cage rockets toward the roof of the Terminal Tower. The elevator operator is KATHERINE WALLETTE. A lawyer is engaged in a heated argument with the judge. The spectators rise in their seats to see the expected combat. The Attorney is LOIS JEAN BODIE, the judge is MARY BACHER. HA postal union messenger pedals furiously along Euclid Avenue. The modern mercury is JEAN MARIE SWIADEK, the fastest telegram delivererf' :A prominent speaker on woman's rights addresses a group in the Halle Lounge. Here is HOPE GREENER. A chemist with practised hand, tilts a test tube over a beaker filled with clear liquid. There is a blinding flash and ANN JENKINS goes through the roof like a shot. A reporter witnesses these results, hails a passing street car and starts to the office of the Zanesville Bugle. The scribe is RITA KIPP. The conductor is EUNICE MULCAHY. MARGARET KENNEY is a campus bell at Ursuline College. Let's visit Taylor Bros. Here we find many school- mates. GRACE SAVAGE, naturally, is selling black hair dye. JULIA SABLYAR models in the elite Junior Misses department. HELEN NUGENT is mimeographing the store paper. FAITH DI CORPO is in infants ready-to-wear. Her customer is BETTY O'BRIEN, shopping for her three little ones, Rosita, Peppita, and Juanita O'Toole. MARY MEINER is at the information desk at the main entrance. Selling exotic perfumes is THERESE MCGEE. We miss KATH- ERINE CONNOLLY and JEANNE MILLER on this visit, since they are fashion buyers and are spending the season on the Rivierraf' Touring Euclid Avenue we pass KATHLEEN MOR- AN'S Gift Shop, and spy in the window, charming ceramics by MONICA CONWAY-a perfect rage. We notice a doorway obviously leading to upper business offices and spy these headings in gold letters: ANN WAHL-Brain Specialist, ROSEMARY KIPP-Painless Dentist, HELEN KRIEG-Foot Soother, and NANCY DONLEY-Dancing Instructress-Mistress of the Ballet. If we had time we might stop at the Bejou and find EMILIE PAVLIKOSKI and VIRGINIA BEHRENDT, usherettes. If your nails are in need of attentoin, try EILEEN MCINTYRE. They say she's a wonderful manicurist. Have you heard the Lullaby Lady on the radio lately? Perhaps if you have, you'll be interested to know that she is none other than LUCILLE SHAFFER. GERALDINE TAPP is busily managing a play school for little tots and all her prodigies are eager customers of MARGE WHITTAKER, who runs a candy store right next door. UA uniformed porter wheels a wicker chair along the board walk at Miami. She is DOROTHY DINDA. Her passenger is MARY RITA MILLER, instructor in Sanskrit at John Hopkins Institute. I see a dapper clerk in a show window, arranging a display of rare art treasures. A blissful expression is on her face, although she is kneeling on a sheet of flypaper. The decorator is DOROTHY LEDWON. 'PHYLLIS CHANDLER shops at her neighborhood meat market-buying steaks and butter. COh! for the futurelj When your phone rings and a voice asks, 'What pro- gram are you listening to?' say 'Hello' to THERESE SHAN- NON, radio surveyerf, With that the magician ceased, turned on his heels, and strode from the room. Dazed by the rapid-fire revelations, we were slowly realizing that our search was incomplete. What, we queried, does the future hold in store for ELEANOR BIRD? We pick up a fragment of the crystal and in it we saw a huge business office, P. Byrnes Co.-Striped Suits Manuafcturers, equipped with velvet carpets and fumed oak desks. There was Eleanor, busily at work-polishing the bronze handles of the front door! As the astrologer spoke these C the lastj words, he seemed to shivel before our eyes.
