An essential asset in every woman's life is grace and ease of motion and there is no better nor simpler way of acquiring it than by dancing. Under the direction of Miss Childs the girls learn various formations of dance patterns, good posture and the correct manner of Walking. The purpose of the dancing period is then to make our path into the cultural and social world a smoother one. Al- though not a daily course, it is one of the most popular periods in high school. The yellow gym suit and the red sneakers are familiar sights on gym day but being without them, the required dental note or the medical cheek-up might mean a few minuses at report card time. W'inter months mean basketball, volleyball and ping-pong, but spring time and fair weather provide splendid op- portunities for tennis, soccer and badminton.
