Club lcd the way into the gym-auditorium for Solemn Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Thus another great day was concluded with God's gracious blessing. lt was the orhcial opening of the gym-auditorium-for a few days later it was used for such social events as the Sophomore Hop and rhe junior Prom. The school itself was to be ready for student-occupancy the following September. The laying of the cornerstone marked Finis , for a time, to the cement mixers, to the plasterers, to the surveyors. It meant we were one step nearer the goal, the completely built and furnished Sacred Heart Academy ! The Glee Club's rendition of Praise the Lordi' fliiggsj and the Sancte Joseph made us mindful of the Two Who have accompanied us throughout our high school days--Our Two Builders-the Sacred Heart and Saint joseph. Again, we will never forget-time will perhaps erase the memory of the actual scene, but it can never steal from our hearts the great joy, the humble grati- tude that were ours as we knelt before the God Who had showered so many blessings upon us. l lis lfxcellenc 1 'fl 1 Qfiviffi-. .lm ' t Ei?2Zri3hg5?Zz'sf4z ft Sv gg ggigbiis T im?
