W e Learned the Importance of Cultural Previously hidden artistic talents revealed themselves through SHA's art courses. SHAers painted, sculpted, and even fashioned their own Christmas cards. This year there was an art festival and SHAers, art students or not, entered it. All sorts of media, from hand-painted stationery to masks, were a part of the festival. In Music Appreciation, Simon and Garfunkel were as much under the classes' study as was Beethoven, quite a surprise for those who thought music in school could only be high-brow. The tired typists continually drummed on their typewriters -but not in vain! They gained valuable knowledge of typing term papers, themes, and invoices.
