Scientwc Terms Became Part of Every After trying to turn SHAers into female Einsteins, most science teachers were satisfied if they appreciated and understood some of the intricacies of their environment. Advanced Biology students, with four teachers, dissected fetal pigs and fish to study the organs of more ad- vanced forms of life. To see life developing, the biology class experimented with chicken embryos-hatching them for Easter. Having conquered pigeon holes and electron dots, chemistry students studied the structural formulas of molecules and balancing equations. Physics students experimented with effects of electricity and gravity while physical science classes studied everything from light energy to reflections and refractions. This regular class work plus entering science fairs kept SHA scientists busy and labs humming.
