An altenlioe Graduating Clary liftenr to the brief but challenging merfage of fpeaker, fudge Marlow Cook. Dreary, Rainy Weather Did Not Dampen In typical Sacred Heart tradition it rained for the school's last major event of the year. However the weather could hardly have dampened the graduates' spirits. With four years of demanding study behind them the 193 seniors eagerly but nervously awaited their moment of glory. At a 7:30 a.m. practice they paraded in and out, preparing for this moment. But then graduation day and 4:00 p.m. came. And with caps wobbling, tassels swinging, and their dozen red roses the graduating seniors solemnly step step . . . stepped in. Father Charles Roppel gave the invo- cation and Father James Flynn introduced the speaker, judge Marlow Cook. Judge Cook assailed society's collective condemnation of teen-agers and said the grad- uates were a group of individuals.
