Practice for the classic play began the last of September so that the correct tone of subtle humor could be established in the acting. After this time of preparation some actors felt free enough to improvise some. A change of words on opening night from my dear to my little chickadeeu brought a look of surprise on one heroine's face. Melinda Milliken, julia Caldwell, Vicki Golden and Ellen Casper were Sacred Heart's representatives of the Madwomen of France, and their reputations followed them through the halls of school. The cast was satisfied that the presentation of the play will long be remembered. THE CAST fln order of appearancej The Waitress ...................... jean Niehaus The Prospector . The President . . Uur Seniors Joined the Alumnae Fold Remembering Alumnae Teas of the past undoubtedly brought back many mothers to see their own daughters become members of the Sacred Heart alumnae. For the first time the seniors signed the Alumnae Book and re- ceived honorary member cards. This year there was no speaker but the Tea did provide a chance for the seniors to meet many people and in some cases it was the time for finding out that people they had known for years were also members of the Sacred Heart Alumnae. Mother and daughter alumnae posed for their picture but this year there was something special. jackie Krebs was the third generation to graduate and all three-jackie, her aunt and grandmother-were l I Former SHAer, Mrs. Roby, talk: with alumnae, jarkze present.
