Early the morning before, decorators arrived carting buckets of autumn leaves and trees recently fallen for The Fall, the Park, and Other Thingsf' All these props were used to transform Sacred Hearts gym into a miniature Cherokee Park. On the night of November 24, as the juniors and seniors entered the school, the first dis- tinguishable thing was the music of the Alphabetical Order. Then passing the candystriped bar, they pro- ceeded to cross the bridge into the gym. Suddenly up- perclassmen and their dates found themselves in a unique park complete with street lamps, willowy trees, fallen leaves and vine-covered gazebo, For the more romantically inclined, there was even a double swing. Unfortunately the spell was broken when the 'swing collapsed and the juniors bugalooed on home, savor- ing their first taste of Sacred Heart's social life.

After guest speakers Doctor joe Riley of the First Christian Church, and Misses Pat Allegiar and Cissy Musselman, frosh dis- cussed the two movies they had seen. Each level cele- brated a guitar Mass and Communal Penance. A play and two movies were presented for the upperclassmen. Sophomores joined the upperclassmen to experience ecumenism with Reverend Proctor Riggins of the First Christian Church, Presbyterian Reverends Sigman Rhee and Herb Pixly, a Marriage Panel, and Joe Wise. Before a press conference with Big Y, the seniors engaged in an Agape Meal ending the retreat with love and fellowship. School LU'e 145
