Duberman THE FIRST PLAY of the season, directed by Mr. George Anastasiow, dramatized the history of the Negro in America. Understanding the change from Negro passivism to black militantism is one of the themes of the documentary play. The play was timely and educational in that it applied to current civil rights struggle.
