Fine THE CHIEF PURPOSE of fine arts is to express or interpret the feeling of beauty. As we surround ourselves with beauty, art actu¬ ally becomes a part of our life and personality. Tastes and abili¬ ties in the fine arts may be re¬ fined by one of the many courses offered at City College. Too often it is thought that art is synonymous only with drawing, painting, and sculpture.
