S' LCDR Kasky has spent sea tours onboard USS KALAMAZOO IAOR 62 as DCAfLiquid Cargo Officer, USS RICHARD S. EDWARDS IDD 9501 as Chief Engineer, and Staff Engineer for Commander Amphibious Squadron Three, embarked on USS NEW ORLEANS ILPH-111. Watson began his distin- guished career in the Navy on October 9, 1965. Following Recruit Train- ing, his tours included Electrician 's Mate A School, CommanderMine Squadron Eleven IDETA Vietnamj, USS ENGAGE IMSO 4551, USS CAS- TOR IAKS-11, USS NIAGARA FALLS KAFS-11, INACTI VE SHIPS REPAIR, Bremerton Wa., Commander Fleet Activities, Yokosuka, Japan, Electri- cian's Mate C School, USS MA UNA KEA CAE-221, SIMA, San Francisco, Ca., USS MARS IAFS-12, Trident Refit Facility, Bangor Wa., and Com- mander Naval Air Force Atlantic Fleet, Norfolk, Virginia. ln January 198 7, EMCM Watson was selected for Command Master Chief of USS SACRAMENTO, where he reported for duty in March 198 7. This Senior Enlisted man onboard wears a Navy Commendation Medal with one star, Navy Achievement Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal with four stars, Navy Expeditionary Medal with one star, Meritorious Unit Commendation with one star, RVN MUC Gallantry Cross, National De- fense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one star, Anned Forces Expe- ditionary Medal. EMCM Watson is married to the former Yoshiko Fukae of Sesebo, Japan. They have three children and four grandchildren.
