E., Millis r fa 1 1 A . .r , Captain, U.S. Navy Captain Ed Millis was born in Durham, North Carolina, and graduat- ed from the University of North Carolina with a NROTC commission and a degree in Political Science. After completing his first tour onboard USS SPROSTON IDD 5771 and the United States Naval Destroyer School at Newport, Rhode Island in December 1966, he married Miss Mildred Ann fCookie1 Alexander of Kannapolis, North Carolina. Captain Millis has spent sea tours onboard destroyers and service force ships serving as Division Officer, Department Head, Executive Offi- cer and Commanding Ofiicer. During shore tours he attended the U. S. Naval Postgraduate School, the University of Virginia, and the Human Resource Management Detachment in Ma yport, Florida. These tours led towards a Master Degree in Management and Counselor Education. During the Southeast Asian involvement, Captain Millis served in- country as Executive Officer of USS SA TYR KARL 251, and later deployed to the Western Pacific as Commanding Officer of USS TOMBIGEEE CAOG-111. After serving as Executive Officer of USS SA VANNAH IAOR 41, Cap- tain Millis assumed command of USS Nl TRO IAE 2.51 and made two cle- ployments to the Meditenanean Sea. Following a tour as Assistance Chief of Staff for Logistics at Com- mander Service Group ONE in Oakland, California, Captain Millis as- sumed command of SACRAMENTO in April 198 7.

3111.21 P. C. Kasky Lcnn U.s. Navy LCDR Kasky was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Mi- ami University of Ohio with a NROTC Commission and a degree in Politi- cal Science. S' LCDR Kasky has spent sea tours onboard USS KALAMAZOO IAOR 62 as DCAfLiquid Cargo Officer, USS RICHARD S. EDWARDS IDD 9501 as Chief Engineer, and Staff Engineer for Commander Amphibious Squadron Three, embarked on USS NEW ORLEANS ILPH-111. During shore tours, he taught Naval Engineering at Surface Warfare Officer School, Newport, Rhode Island, Attended Department Head School, and served as CLFXMSCXMSO Placement Officer at NMPC Wash- ington, D.
