A large delegation attended the District Convention at Cvraettinger in October. The theme for the convention was Families Here and Abroad. November brought F, H, A. Week which was observed by the local chapter. A highlight of the week's activities was acostume party held in the home economics room, Several days before Christmas vacation girls could be seen sneaking small gifts of candy, gum or cookies into the lockers of their secret Santas. To earn money for chapter expenses, the chapter held a bake- sale after the adult education classes. The theme for the big project of the year, the formal dance held on February 4, was Winter Fan- tasy. The new officers were installed in an impressive installation in April. A picnic in May honoring the seniors was the final activity of the school year, 38 1.1 Row 1: Velma Kolbe, Patty Lynch, Row 2: Sharon Sams, Judy Marshall, Marilyn Stevens, Janice Freese, Marcene Simpson, LuRae Sharp,Sandra Rodin, Row 3: Karen Hartman, Betty Vote, Caryl Johnson, Mary Young, Susan Holtz, Bonnie Henrich,Carylon Vest,Carol Minser, Doris Crabb, Row 4: Ruth Hartman, Mary Ann O'Tool, Shirley Larson, Cynthia Whitehouse, Marjorie Roose, Marilyn Luckow, Mimi Kibbee, Sally Liechty, Mary Farmer, Mary Fachman, lelani Reaman, Francis Scheffler, Row 5: Sandra Haradon,Bonnie Osgood, Betty Uren, Helen Jarvis, Judy DeBourgh, Sharon Bunker, Carmen Lewis, Judy Maurer, Karen Holmes, Mary Hummel, Marge Wellendorf, Jan Hoover, OF AMERICA Julie giving the Treasurer's report, F.
