It is their job to take care ofthe finances of the school, route the buses, and plan the night school program. They have the headaches of organizing the cur- riculum, scheduling activities during the year, and sending out the various bulletins. Certainly a huge responsi- bility is on the shoulders of the administration, but their task is carried out to the farthest pos- sible degree. D, W, WILCOX MRS. There is certainly no doubt that it's also the busiest organization too. A very impressive initiation-installation was held at the beginning of the school year. In November, F,H.A. Week was observed by the girls. Sac City's chapter was host to the District Convention on October 30th. Three hundred girls, representing approximately fourteen chapters, were in attendance. The theme for this convention was F.H,A,'ers In Harmony. On December Zlst, members went caroling to various shut-ins in town. On Feb- ruary 5th, the F,H.A. sponsored their annual formal dance. The theme of the dance was Candy1and . The State F,H.A. Convention was held March 31 through April Z in Des Moines. Mary Schultz, State Historian, and other chosen girls of the chapter attended this convention. In order to raise money, the girls took charge of concessions and the checkroom at basketball games. Last fall they held a Hobo Day to raise money for their treasury. This year for the first time, points were given to members for working on committees, doing extra projects, and for being atmeetings of the chapter. Awards were in store for those having the most points at the end of each semester. 33 Q N Fourth Row Pat Krlleen Dean Allen laveme Mueggenberg Charles Glass Ronald Bentsen Bud McCrea Jerry Schramm Ronnte Bartlett Lowell Dterson Thrrd Row Allen McCu1lum Larry Dterson Jack Susre Melvm Zoll man Norman Kolbe hm Srmpson Larry Glass Merle McCrea Moms Mooney Fred Pease Second Row Russell Love Wtlbur McCaulley Ed Schwaller Gordon Harman Warren Albers Stanley Buehler ,hm Fertrg Larry Bogue Robert Kohlstedt F1rst Row Mr Severson Gene Schramm Jerry Hagan Ketth Buntmg Arlen Brouchous Ned Stanzel Larry Dommo FUTURE FARMERS Sweetheart Sonja LeRaas wrth attendants Betty Gosch and Lots Presrdent Kerth at Harvest Ball Kolbe 77 1 xQx. - L T , , K ,Y . 1,3 3 R .. s . - 4. ..
