If you will recall, I told you at the first of the year, You are the best because you're seniors. I tried all year to show that you were the best. True I may have chewed, ranted and raved at times, but it wasn't because you weren't good, it was because I knew you could do better. Second hour psychology may never forget the dressing down they got but it wasn't because I didn't like you but probably because, like your parents, I love you too much. I honestly do not believe there is anything most of you cannot do IF you want to. And it will be done at the last minute. As a matter of fact I bet graduation didn't start at 8:00 p.m. The very best to you in the future because you can do well, maybe even be outstanding. Class of 72, I love you! It is decided by the placings in six sports on a point accumulation. This was the first year such a trophy was awarded. Sabetha was the first to win the trophy which will entitle it to have its name engraved on the trophy. A school which wins the trophy for three consecutive years will have the privi- lege of keeping it, and a new one will then be bought. No more league trophies will be given; only medals for each sport. Sabetha Senior High School point accumulation for the school year 1971-1972: Football 4 DON'T PLA Y NO MORE OF THEM SAD SONGS.
