DEDICATION We hereby dedicate the 1969-1970 Annual to the new Sabetha High School. As the first class to graduate from this new and totally modern school, we feel called upon to thank those responsible for giving us this privilege. We say thank you to our parents and other boosters who voted this school into existence. We thank the school board and the teachers for this op- portunity of learning. Most of all we thank Mr. Cleavenger, Uncle Joe to many of us, for all the time and effort he put into making this school possible. 3 Thank you one and all. Seniors 70'
TO THE CLASS OF 1970--Sabetha Sr. High The class of 1970 has been a class of firsts . You were the first Freshman class under the school Uni- fication Act. You were the first class to have spent your entire career under the Unification Law. You are the first class to graduate from the new Sabe- tha Senior High School Building. Because of all this you have been a distinguished group. There is no doubt that you will distinguish yourselves, collectively and individually, as time goes on. Please accept my congratulations and best wishes for continued success. J. A. Cleavinger Superintendent Each student can be proud of the new school which they were privileged to attend despite some incon- veniences. The different courses which were offered for the first time in this school system already have contributed to making our high school a better in- stitution of learning. To each member of the senior class of 1970, I wish to extend best wishes and lots of success in the future. Your class has the enviable distinction of being the first class to graduate from the new Sabetha Senior High School. Congratulations to the staff of the 1970 yearbook for another fine production of the activities during the 1969-1970 school year. Beryl V. Drumm Principal 4
