DEDICATION Mr. Shaw was more than a friend, more than a superintendent. He was a man who had dedicated his life to building a better system of education. His goal was always a better school for better students for better citizen to serve our world of tomorrow. His interest and concern was for the little fellow who did not have the ability to learn as well as those of you who can reach the pinnacles of success. No problem was too small, no task too great to have his personnal attention. He spent many, many long hours, often far into the night, in trying to bring about these goals. The special services center which meant so much to him, and will mean so much to so many in the future, is now becoming a reality. It is my wish that it will stand as a living, working memorial to his great efforts. We have lost a sincere, dedicated, wonderful friend. May God rest his soul in peace.
