 LETTERMEN Albert Eaton-195 Big A1 was a fine interior lineman playing his Senior year at guard he helped to lead the Bluejays to a 6-3 record with his fine offen- sive and defensive work. Arlen Kaul-160 Arlen was a three year starter at the pivot position. He was very capable on offense with his quickness and agility in the center of the line. On defense he did a fine aggressive job as a guard. Dennis Stalder-180 Dennis was the outstanding defensive player, leading the team in tackles and assists. One of the outstanding linemen in North East Kan- sas. Jerry Gates-145 Jerry is a two year letterman at guard, a fine quick lineman on offense and a steady hand on defense. Steve Aberle-150 Steve turned out for football his Senior year and was doing a fine job, until his receiving a broken leg forced him to give it up. Mike Montgomery-165 Mike was a Co-Captain his Senior year, and made the all conference team. Mike played the tight end and did an excellent job on defense as well as catching the short pass when needed. 19

Pete Summers-180 Pete was a three year starter and letterman, and his Junior year was listed on the first team for all area. He was a power packed Fullback and the key to our offense. Big 7 Standings Won Lost Jim Estle-170 Jim was a three year let- terman and Co-Captain of the Bluejays. A good long passer and excellent punter, with his fine leadership ability, made him an outstanding quar- terback. Bob Ayers-135 By coming out for foot- ball his Senior year, Bob added depth and speed to the back-field.
