j°°y°9 y6u£ JOIUd 9 3,J 9fay We, the 1962 BLUE JAY staff, hope that this annual will become one of your most prized possessions and that you may look back over the faded snapshots and remember the good days at SHS. In later years, while turning these pages, if you should recall the many smiles, sorrows, and dreams of '62 we shall be content, knowing that we have done the thing we were called upon to do. We have tried to present a key to each division and activity of high school work and fun. Knowing that the key to success is enthusiasm, we have all whole-heartedly joined in to make this BLUEJAY one of the best ever. We feel that your satisfaction with this book is our compensation, and with this thought I proudly give you the key to the 1961-1962 BLUEJAY. FRED ABERLE, Editor Dedication 7Kr. Dtifberi Danner For guiding us through the past two years with a deep understand- ing of our many problems, and for loyally promoting our social func- tions, we, the members of the Senior Class, would like to show our appreciation by dedicating the 1962 Bluejay to Mr. Farmer, our prin- cipal.
