FOREWORD In this, the 1954 edition of the year book, we have tried to pre- serve some of the fondest mem- ories of school life. This annual will mean most to the seniors, for this is their last. To them it will bring a profound pang of lonliness. To the underclassmen it will sig- nify the only way of life they have known for many years. To all it is an unforgettable experience. To our foreign student, Klaus Steinmetz, we hope it shows the democratic way of life in our be- loved America. We, the seniors, are proud that you were in our class, and hope that some day our paths may cross again. This annual is for the future.
