fORElllORD ”And so goodbye” to you, our SHS. Although we, the Seniors of 53, don’t realize it now, you’ve meant a lot to us. From the moment we entered your halls as timid freshmen, to the time we leave them as proud seniors, you have been our whole life. We have loved you, hated you, cheered you, wished we never heard of you, and yet always been proud of you. We have run through your halls like the March Hare when we were late to classes, we have spent hours in your study hall learning ’’Snowbound”, we have screamed our- selves hoarse on your football field, we have dreamed away hours in your classrooms waiting for that last bell, we have danced and laughed in your old gym, and witnes- sed the birth of your new gym. To open the doors of memory so that we may again relive these.precious moments is the chief aim of this yearbook. We have tried to capture the steady stream of e- vents that makes up life in and out of your classrooms, and we hope, in doing so, we may have left a small imprint of ourselves in your halls. And so goodbye to you our High School, from the seniors of 53.
