FOREWORD So ever onward our coarse pursuing — the freshmen and sophomores have a future yet in high school. The juniors have one more year, but for us, the seniors, this is the end of four of the most wonderful years of our lives. It isn't in the human manner to realize and appreciate the opportunities, the beauty, and the sheer joy that am theirs until time has begun to run out, and there is no longer the old familiarities to enjoy. This alone is the reason we have tried to re-capture those precious times, so you may in the after years re- live the glorious, carefree days of high school — that you may dance again in the gym after a football victory, yell the old familiar chants of Sis, have the thrill of a prom, enjoy last minute gab sessions, take an unexcus- ed absence, attend parties and picnics, then go home to sleep the sleep of the blessed. We want this year book to be a symbol of the dear ’'old golden rule days of cherished memories of all the unpre- dictable happenings of high school days. With this aim in mind, the Class of '52 bids farewell to you who have yet to finish your high school experience. So long.'
