SPECIFICATIONS The 1976 Cardinal was prepared by the students of State University College at Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, New York and printed by offset lithography by Delmar Printing Company, Charlotte, North Carolina. All but sixteen pages are printed on 80 pound West Virginia Mountie Matte. The historical section, pages 33-48 is printed on basis 60 parchtone aged text which is manufactured by the French Paper Company. The end leaves are printed on 65 pound white cover paper. The cover material is a special Cordoba, blind em- bossed with a black overtone. The body copy for the book is 10 12 Helvetica with 8 9 News Gothic for the caption copy, and the copy for the Senior section is 8 9 News Gothic Bold. The heads are 30 point Helvetica with 24 point Helvetica used for subheadings. Times Roman with variations is used in the historical section. The 1976 Cardinal press run was 3000 copies 2
