ALPHA PHI OMEGA The Fraternity, in American collegiate tradition is assumed to be synonymous with brotherhood and the social life of college stu- dents. There are, however, fraternities which do not fall into this traditional generalization. Alpha Phi Omega is a notable example. Alpha Phi Omega exists as a fraternal group of college men working in service to the campus and the community through its brotherhood. ln this aspect, Alpha Phi Omega is a unique Greek, here brotherhood exists under a universal virtue - Service. Thus, Alpha Phi Omega is a fraternity in keeping with the highest frater- nal concept: lndividuals bound together in brotherhood by the common purpose, Service, from which leadership and friendship are gained. Alpha Phi members serenade their brother and his girl at a pinning ceremony.
