Dr. Nitardy, Mr. Luongo, Mr. Murray, Mr. Glinski, Mr. Howard. COACHING STAFF The coaching staff at Oswego State, a going and grow- ing concern, has been a major factor in the success of Oswego's intercollegiate teams in the world of sports. Every man on this staff, with the exception of Mr. Wells who is department chairman, is the coach for at least one, and in several cases two or more intercollegiate' teams. Be- sides training and guiding these teams, Oswego's coaches also search out and encourage gifted athletes to attend Oswego in order for those teams to preserve and improve their strength in intercollegiate competition. ln an effort to insure continued superb coaching Oswego's staff will grow and expand just as the campus is expanding and adding new activities. In the near future Oswego's intercollegiate competitions will take on new breadth and excitement due to the addition of intercollegiate football, hockey, indoor track, and lacrosse teams. Mr. Campbell, Mr. Crowe, Mr. Frye, Mr. Brennan, Mr. Wells - Chairman of Health and Physical Education Department, Mr. Dick. 160

These girls are the spirit- providers for both the basketball and soccer teams, and their dili- gent practices, twice a week, have made them one of the best groups Oswego has ever had. The group participates in all the home and many of the away games and their faithful support in victory and de- feat has been of great value in making our teams the victors they usually are.
