CAMPUS FLYING CLUB The Campus Flying Club is organized to promote and encourage an active interest in private flying, to provide ground instruc- tion leading to a better understanding of flying, and to afford an opportunity for in- terested students to learn to fly. Any student or faculty member is eligible for membership, regardless of flying experi- ence. Persons attending two consecutive meetings of the club are considered active members and enjoy all the rights and privi- leges of membership. Activities consist of a ground school at meetings, informative lectures by promi- nent aviators, and flying lessons at half the usual cost. Lessons are available any time at the Fulton airport.

LAKESHORE AMATEUR RADIO CLUB The purpose of the Lakeshore Amateur Radio Club is to promote interest in the subject of amateur radios for the students on campus and the residents of Oswego. Activi- ties include participating in civil de- fense drills, relaying messages, and holding weekly meetings at which club activities are discussed, mov- ies shown, talks on radio theory are given, and demonstrations on new phases of electronics are held. INDUSTRIAL ARTS CLUB The Industrial Arts Club is a professional or- ganization affiliated with the American Industri- al Arts Association. The aims of the club are to further interest in industry and technology, to supplement classroom information through the use of programs from industry and the field of education, to create interest in the professional Industrial Arts education organizations, and to stimulate discussion relevant to the future of Industrial Arts education. CATALINA CLUB This year thirty-two students make up the membership of Catalina Club. Each year workshops are conducted by the club to teach interested students the basic skills necessary to join. Try- outs for this synchronized swimming group are held in October. The tenth annual convention for the Association of Synchronized Swimming for College Women was held at Wellesley College, Massachusetts, this year, four girls re- presented Catalina from Oswego. The annual show is held in the spring and is open to college students, the faculty, and the community. The club also spon- sors various activities for the benefit of the members, for example, clinics put on by people interested in synchronized swimming from various colleges. Two members practice required formation. The girls relax before a lengthy practice session
