When the faculty, by superb playing, won the Senior-Faculty game by the breathtaking score of 46-45, the place was in an uproar. But that was nothing compared to the faculty cheering section when they won the varsity game by the over- whelming score of 38-23. What better compliment can we pay the faculty than to say that they are the best of good sports. This will be remembered long after other experiences have been forgotten. ............. .

W . :Wap - M 'N We had another close contest here this fall. Wes Arnold joined the ranks of G. S. T. C. service men, leaving the ofice of Vice- President of Student Co-operative Government open. So we had to call a special election. The campaign roused us all from our usual routine of sleep, work, and play. Every inch of space in the halls of Old Main was covered by posters of one candidate or another. Even the trees were utilized. Because some of us canned corn for Uncle Sam we weren't able to see the skits, but I under- t d they were clever.
