Junior Class HEN September came to us this year with its bright blue weather, it found a goodly number of us once more in Gene- seo. Many changes had occurred, due to many causes. A few of the faces were gone from our class, but of those who returned, what cannot be said? No longer were we dubbed green but somehow, in some myster- ious fashion, we had changed so much that we, too, enjoyed the novelty of dubbing the new-comers Freshies. We feel that they never had a chance to be blue, for they were too busy being green. Organizing early, we began what we hope will be a most successful year. Responsibility awaits us around the corner. The very interesting, as well as serious, proposition of student government is coming before us. It is for our class to launch this new work, if it begins now. Will we prove ourselves capable? We a1'e confident, Good times have not been lacking. We surprised the Freshmen early in the year when we gave a surprise dance in the gymnasium. The cooperation in the work We have already accomplished is only one of the manifest advantages we hold. Placing standards high and with ideals soaring, we feel that suc- cess awaits us. If failure lurk, we can but forge ahead and overcome the difficulties. Frfmces E. Cook. 28
