On their capable shoulders fell the burden of prompting the amateur freshmen iyou know, how to do what you should when you shouldl. Early in the fall, these Galahads laid their armor among the oil cans and took their young charges to commune with nature and the mosquitoes at the freshman camp. In comparative quietude, the prompting went on efficiently until the dawn of the day of initiation. 'Twas then the fresh- men gained the abtuse knowledge that paddles were used for things other than playing pina pong. Now the year is over: the prompters' work is finished.
