Moving-Up £)ay With these traditional ceremonies, the graduating students are welcomed into the body of Alumni, and the Junior students become members of the Senior Class. Traditionally the day begins with a get together for all students. This year it took the form of Breakfast on the Campus. During the morning, the annual Orange Key Tapping takes place on the Quad, followed by non-academic awards, presentation of next year's officers of clubs and organizations, and the announcement of the dedication of the current Voice. This year an additional part of the ceremonies was the presentation to Mrs. Wheeler, by the graduating class, of an additional sum of money to be applied to the Ray L. Wheeler Scholarship Fund. Inter-class athletic contests and a barbecue occupied the afternoon, the Victory going this year to the Seniors. In the evening the Traditional Torch Ceremony was presented. Each Senior bequeathed his torch to his Junior Torchbearer.
