5- Joe Pastore Mauruce Forman Al Rosen relax after a tough day of horstung palntnng and naulmg on the Prom decoratnons Barb Lubby and Ann sung Basin Street Blues at the Prom Rlchue Knopf Jm McMahon Eddle Mahrlng Hank Davenport Bull Pelton Ruchue K warbles a solo nn the pantom me of I Won der Why' 1958 59 Senrorsl Flrst graduatung class from the new school' We thought we would never make It For a whale we felt strange berng the oldest ones In the school but we soon forgot our self consclous ness and began to enloy llfe Immediately we elected our extremely cap able offtcers Ronnue Crnsp President Bob Bysshe vlce president Roger Slrlln treasurer Barbara Ar agona recordlng secretary and Jackle Moen cor responding secretary Before long we plunged In to varuous actnvlttes necessary to ranse money for the yearbook The long hard rehearsals ended rn tremen dous success for our Sensor Play The Helress, wnth Rand: Sachs Btll Pelton Martha Doughty and Stan Warnow In the leadlng roles Seven nrneteenfh century costumes were made by our Sensor seam stresses Joanne Burghermer Audrey Vlnet Noel Upharn and Ann Welden One week end with Barb Hurleys barn as headquarters and led by Martha Doughty the class launched a campaign and brought rn much needed funds by the selling of Chrnstmas cards The refreshment cornmuttee led by the boss hawkers Make Bluestone Charlue Greene and Rand: Sachs proved very successful at sellnng thelr merchandise to the students and parents at all home football soccer and basketball games After a few hectnc class meetnngs the year book staff managed to persuade the class to break with tradltlon and publish a new book for a new school Then demonstratnng our abnluty to keep order and hold back our natural leanlng toward bag thrownng during lunch penod we were granted the pruvrlege of proctortng all lunch per rods A Service Club of Senior boys was formed for the purpose of proctonng Even the Senror gurls had a part rn the new programs they sold mnlk In the hall When graduatlon and the festlvltles follow Ing It were over we all looked back and tried to determune where our year had gone We had been so tmmersed In college applrcatrons college boards and yearbook deadlnnes that we hadnt nottced the tnme whtch flew by We were cheered however by the memones we had ones we shall never forget It was trme to gave up our home rooms to the new seniors and go unto the world which was beckonnng to us wuth open arms 53 f Q 1 ' 5, , .
